We’re going to Switzerland!

For the first time ever, Elena’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Club will be making a trip across the big pond to Switzerland for the 2011 World Gymnaestrada. This is the world’s largest athletic event with over 23,000 athletes performing from all over the planet. Elena’s is proud to be participating in this prestigious event and our girls have been working hard all year, travelling to Winnipeg for the National Gymnaestrada on July 1st, 2010, and in the end, qualifying to be part of Team Canada, representing our country at the World Gymnaestrada.

The World Gymnaestrada will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland July 10th-16th with participants from 55 national federations. It is a meeting of gymnastics performers from 5 continents that celebrates the colour, the movement, and the music that is within this graceful and powerful sport. It will be 7 days of over 1,800 demonstrations and shows where participants will share their passion and their love of gymnastics.

Support our girls in representing Canada next year! They will be training hard for this amazing opportunity and will exemplify the calibre and the grace that Elena’s brings to its gymnasts. Whether it be competitive, performing or recreational levels for all ages, Elena’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Club ensures that each child is taught with the same quality and enthusiasm and quality that is leading our senior gymnasts to this incredible world event!

Its that CASINO time of year again!!!

Parents and Friends! It is that time of year again, CASINO!!!
THE CASINO is one the most important fundraising we have for our club, it is what keeps us running, our class prices low and the quality of our costumes and equipment high! Come out and volunteer on November 17th & 18th, 2010!

All families are required to participate in fundraising and volunteer activities. This is a CASINO year for ERGC. The CASINO will be held on November 17 & 18, 2010. Each family of the competitive/performing gymnast is required to supply volunteers for two shifts of the CASINO

Fundraising Parties!! - Norwex and Epicure!!

As you may know, our Performing Team excelled at the National Gymnaestrada in Winnipeg this last summer and has
been asked to be part of Team Canada, going to Lausanne Switzerland for the 2011 World Gymnaestrada. Although this
is NOT the Olympics the gymnasts work just as long and hard and, well, have no funding. Each of the 10 gymnasts is
responsible for raising their own funds. We have set up a few small fundraisers for this year and the money raised goes
directly to our team. We hope that you may find use in the products of the following fundraisers and if you are unable to
attend we would be happy to place an order to attach to the event.

On November 26th we will be hosting an Epicure Spices and Norwex Event.
This will be at 6203 - 144 St. from 7-9 pm. (Please google map this or call Terri Ellis at 780-935-0409 for directions.)

After Christmas we will be doing a Bottle Drive (good timing hey!) So, save your bottles and we would happily pick them up them and well, take them off your hands.

On a much larger note if any of you or your corporate company connections would like to make a large donation we are able to make charitable donation receipts and add company logos on our team uniforms.
